UW Cancer Center Riverview will hold the Prostate Cancer Support Group in the Riverview Medical Center’s Lower Level Conference Center on Sept. 1 from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. All men who have prostate cancer or have survived prostate cancer is invited to attend.
This month’s presentation entitled “Trends in Prostate Cancer Treatments”” will be presented by Ron Kirschling, medical oncologist with UW Cancer Center Riverview. The meeting will also include sharing of support information and light refreshments will be served.
The Prostate Cancer Support Group meets the first Thursday of every month with each meeting featuring a topic related to prostate cancer. Admission is free and new members and spouses are always welcomed.
