Fall classes to begin registration

The Wisconsin Rapids Recreation Department’s fall registration will begin Sept. 1.
Flyers showing classes offered are available at the Parks & Recreation Office, 444 West Grand Avenue or on-line at parks.wirapids.org. Starting Sept. 1, registration may be mailed in or completed at the Wisconsin Rapids Recreation Department Office, 444 W. Grand Ave. Registration continues as long as space is available. Class sizes are limited and registration is accepted on a first-come basis. All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. A slightly higher non-resident fee is charged for persons living outside the city limits of Wisconsin Rapids. The fees are per person.
Choice of classes include Babysitting Certification, Tumble Bugs, Tumble Tykes and Pee Wee Soccer.
Additionally, children 7 years old to 13 is eligible for hip hop dance class.
A variety of classes will be offered on Monday evenings throughout the fall. A non-resident fee for persons living outside the city limits of Wisconsin Rapids is $13 per individual. A resident fee for those living in the city limits is $10 per individual.
The purpose of the hip hop program is to learn dance routines to popular pop and hip hop songs while getting a great workout to today’s hippest music. People of all different levels welcome, no previous dance experience required – just a desire to dance and have fun. Classes are held in the Centralia Center.
