Obituary of Shirley M. Baltus

Shirley M. Baltus, 80 of Township Avenue went home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2011. Shirley was born in Wisconsin Rapids on October 22, 1930 to John and Elizabeth Miller. She married Arnold W. Baltus on April 8, 1951 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She worked for the Wood County Telephone Company and the Wisconsin Rapids Buyers Guide. As a full time homemaker, she devoted her life to her husband Arnold, two sons, Brian, Brent (Becky) Baltus, their children, Justin, Jenifer, Tara, Tyler, two daughters, Brenda Kroll, her children Michael (Stephanie) Lutz, Melissa (Jose Meza), Melanie Kroll, Babette Baltus (Tracy Hedberg and son Joshua), her children, Nicholas and Eric. Four great grandchildren, Cody Lutz, Adrian Meza, Payton Lutz and Jackson Urbans. She is also survived by her sister Nancy King.
She was predeceased by her parents and four sisters. Higgins Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Service was held Tuesday September 27 at Wisconsin Rapids Moravian Church.
