Miss Wisconsin Rapids Area Pageant to be held Oct. 29

The 28th annual Miss Wisconsin Rapids Area Scholarship Pageant will take place Oct. 29 at the Performing Arts Center.
The 7:30 p.m. production of “This Magic Moment” will have 12 participants, current Miss Wisconsin Area Megan Larson and special guests including 2011 Miss Wisconsin Laura Kaeppeler, emcee Ellen Roeseler, entertainer Kristopher Gasch, the Pageant Princesses and Dance with Pam troupe. There will be an after pageant reception held at the Rapids Mall.
Tickets will be on sale Oct. 20 at the Rapids Mall for $15 a piece for reserved seating and will be available at Evenson’s Hallmark-Rapids Mall after Oct. 20.
A dress rehearsal will take place on Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. with admission being a $10 donation to the scholarship fund.
The Miss Wisconsin Rapids Area Scholarship Organization has offered over $154,000 in scholarships since 1985.
