The Wisconsin Department of Transportation announced the following road construction updates for the upcoming week:
Construction crews continue working on Highway 10 between Marshfield and Stevens Point.
*From Blenker Road to Trestik Road: Blenker Road from existing Highway 10 to one mile north is scheduled to reopen on Oct. 26. No detour is posted. Crews then plan to close Highway N from existing Highway 10 to two miles north beginning Oct. 26.
*From Stadt Road to White Oak Road: During construction, motorists can expect to encounter flagging operations, right shoulder closures and traffic switches on Highway 10. Highway 10 will remain open to one lane in each direction.
The DOT recommends motorists to slow down and use caution while driving through construction zones. To save time, consider taking an alternative route. For statewide traveler information, call 511 or visit www.511wi.gov.
