John F. Gachnang, 77, 1351 Wisconsin River Drive, Port Edwards, died October 23, 2011 at the Edgewater Haven Nursing Home.
Services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Reverend Daniel Bohn will officiate.
John was born August 18, 1934 the town of Hansen to the late Fred and Mildred (Edgerly) Gachnang.
He retired from the Whittlesey Cranberry Company after working many years with them.
Survivors include his brother, Leo (Shirley) Gachnang of Wisconsin Rapids; sisters, Gladys Romansky of Port Edwards, Elsie Hines of Babcock, Mildred May Hines of Vesper and Dorothy Editc of Pittsville; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 26 at Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from noon until the time of services at 1:00 PM.
