Obituary of Rhonda Neinfeldt

Rhonda Neinfeldt, 54, 3440 Townline Road, Wisconsin Rapids, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.

Services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 29 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kellner.  Rev. Daniel Bohn will officiate.  Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Kellner.

Rhonda was born in Wisconsin Rapids on November 15, 1956 to Ernest and Mary Ann (Ratelle) Neinfeldt, Jr.

She was employed as a trimmer operator for Port Edwards division of Great Northern, Georgia Pacific and retiring from Domtar after becoming disabled.

Rhonda gave of her time and talents to the United Way as a volunteer and was involved in safety projects at the mill.  Her favorite hobbies included bowling, playing horse shoe and softball.  She was an avid sports fan, enjoying watching the Rafters, Packers, Brewers and Badgers games.  Rhonda also was past president of the Bowling League and Women’s Softball League.

She is survived by her father, Ernest; sister, Charlene (Larry) Robinson, Nekoosa; brother, David (Charlene) Neinfeldt, Wisconsin Rapids; 4 nieces and 2 nephews; 2 great nephews and 4 great nieces.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann and sister, Nancy.

Friends may call at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home from 4 pm to 8pm on Friday, and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 until the time of services.
