Jean A. Kolstad, age 71, of 270 Derby Court, Town of Rome (Nekoosa), Adams County, WI died Monday, October 24, 2011 at her home.
Memorial Services are 11:00 AM Thursday at Woodland Lutheran Church in the Town of Rome. Rev. Stan Kwiecien will officiate. The family will greet relatives and friends at Woodland Lutheran Church on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 AM.
There will also be a celebration of Jean’s life held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the North Prairie Village Hall in North Prairie, WI.
Jean was born April 2, 1940 in Waukesha, WI to Marvin and Leona (Roots) Wiesenthal. She married Charles A. Kolstad on May 5, 1962 in Waukesha, WI. Jean was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling and was a true lover of dogs especially her best friend, Bear.
Jean is survived by her husband, Charles; three children, Kelly (Grant) Ziemke of North Prairie, WI, John (Patty) Kolstad of Waterford, WI and Cathy (James) Naukkari of Genesee, WI; one brother, Bill (Joyce) Wiesenthal of Waukesha, WI and twelve grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Jim.
Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids is handling all arrangements.
