The Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce has named Phil Hartley as its new director of business development.
Hartley will be responsible for providing technical assistance to businesses and membership development.
“Phil brings with him an extensive leadership, business and marketing background that will allow him to excel in this position with the Chamber of Commerce,” Chamber President Melissa Loken said. “Phil’s relationships and knowledge of the community as a whole provide the opportunity to make connections for businesses across sectors.”
In his most recently position, Hartley served as executive director of the South Wood County Humane Society, leading his team to increase charitable contributions by 25 precent, and overseeing the design and remodeling of the new animal shelter facility.
Prior to the South Wood County Humane Society, Hartley worked for Stora Enso/Consolidated Papers in Customer Relations Management.
Hartley holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing and Business Administration.
