Crews continue to work on Highway 10 making it into a four-lane highway between Marshfield and Stevens Point. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has posted the following updates for the construction:
*On Highway 10 from Klondike Drive to Wood County Highway BB, there will be a lane open in each direction with a 12-foot width restriction.
*Blenker Road off of Highway 10 is now open; Highway N from existing Highway 10 to two miles north will be closed until mid-November and no detour will be posted.
*Highway A south of the intersection with existing Highway 10 to Mill Creek Road is closed until late-November. Traffic will be detoured on Highway N and Highway 13.
As always, the DOT requests motorists to slow down and stay alert while driving through construction zones. Consider taking a different route and avoid busy travel times in order to avoid delays. Call 511 or visit www.511wi.gov for statewide traveler information.
