The First Baptist Church will be holding their annual community Thanksgiving dinner for Wisconsin Rapids and the surrounding area on Tuesday, November 22. The meal is free for all who attends and will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the church dining hall. The church is handicap accessible.
The meal is meant to help those who may be unable to prepare a meal for themselves, those who may be alone during the holiday and those who may not have the resources to provide a meal for themselves or their families.
Last year, the First Baptist Church served approximately 120 dinners and hopes to do as well this year if not better.
No reservations are needed and carryouts will not be available.
The First Baptist Church is located at 910 McKinley St. in Wisconsin Rapids.
