At 8:04 a.m. on Nov. 10, the Grand Rapids Police Department was called to the intersection of 48th Street and Whitrock Avenue where an accident occurred.
Nekoosa
At 1:34 p.m. on Nov. 10, the Nekoosa Police Department was called to the 200 block of First Street where a disturbance was reported. When police arrived, a person was arrested.
Wisconsin Rapids
At 8:28 a.m. on Nov. 10, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to East Junior High at the 300 block of Lincoln Street where there was an incident on a bus.
At 9:25 a.m. on Nov. 10, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the intersection of Second Street South and East Riverview Expressway where there was a two vehicle accident.
At 9:39 a.m. on Nov. 10, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 3000 block of North Avenue where a man reported broken lawn ornaments and a shed with a broken window that had been entered.
At 10:38 a.m. on Nov. 10, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the emergency room of Riverview Hospital where a drunk man had hit one of the employees. Police arrived and arrested the man.
At 10:56 a.m. on Nov. 10, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the intersection of Eighth Street South and Airport Avenue where a two vehicle accident occurred.
At 12:58 p.m. on Nov. 10, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 3500 block of Eighth Street South where a woman received a threatening letter from a man that she was a juror at his trial.
At 3:07 p.m. on Nov. 10, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to a parking lot at the 4300 block of Eighth Street South where a two vehicle accident occurred. No injuries were reported.
At 8:16 p.m. on Nov. 10, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department pulled over a man at the intersection of 13th Avenue South and Alton Street and arrested the man for drunken driving.
At 11:56 p.m. on Nov. 10, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 4300 block of Eighth Street South where an employee from a nearby restaurant reported an extremely drunk woman standing in the road trying to hitchhike. Police arrived and arrested the woman.
At 1:23 a.m. on Nov. 11, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department pulled over a man at the intersection of Second Avenue South and Park Avenue where he was arrested for drunk driving.
Wood County Sheriff’s Department
At 11:21 a.m. on Nov. 10, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department along with the Nekoosa Fire Department, Nekoosa Ambulance, Saratoga First Responder and Wood County Rescue responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 13 and Highway 73 in Saratoga. The accident resulted in road blockage and injuries although no one was transported to the hospital.
At 4:39 p.m. on Nov. 10, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 11400 block of Galvin Avenue in the town of Marshfield where a woman received a letter from a man whose trial she was on jury for. Later on that day at 5:20 p.m, where another juror at the 1700 block of Church Avenue in Saratoga received a letter. The letters consisted a questionnaire revolving around whether or not he had received fair treatment.
At 7:33 p.m. on Nov. 10, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 1500 block of Main Street in Rudolph where a woman reported receiving harassing calls and text messages. When police arrived, a deputy called back the number and left a voicemail to stop the calls and the texts. When the suspicious caller called back, the woman was told her phone number had been posted online.
At 9 p.m. on Nov. 10, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department along with the Grand Rapids Police Department was called to the 7600 block of Warren Court where a woman reported her husband was refusing to leave.
