Police reports: Officers find arrows shot in Port home

Grand Rapids

At 5:21 p.m. on Nov. 13, the Grand Rapids Fire Department along with the Grand Rapids Police Department and Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 4300 block of 48th Street South where a man reported a neighbor’s house was full of smoke and alarms were going off.

Nekoosa

At 3:25 p.m. on Nov. 12, the Nekoosa Police Department was called to the 100 block of Fourth Street where a man reported his girlfriend left her child with him and did not return and he was unable to take care of the child.

At 2:59 a.m. on Nov. 13, the Nekoosa Police Department was called to the 100 block of Ward Street where a man reported disorderly conduct had taken place. The police soon caught up to a vehicle with the suspects at the intersection of Church Street and Highway 73 where one man was arrested due to probation hold. The Wood County Sheriff’s Department assisted. At 5:09 a.m. the Nekoosa Ambulance was sent to the same address where the caller’s garage had started on fire. The man had put out the fire but stated he was threatened by the suspects from the previous call and felt they had set the fire. The fire is under investigation.

Port Edwards

At 10:13 a.m. on Nov. 13, the Port Edwards Police Department was called to the 1400 block of Fourth Street where a person reported arrows had struck a house. A citation was issued.

Wisconsin Rapids

At 9:45 a.m. on Nov. 11, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 3100 block of Reddin Road where a woman reported windows broken in a shed from the night before. Police found footprints in the snow which went around the neighborhood and led to another house on Reddin Road where police questioned people at the residence.

At 1 p.m. on Nov. 11, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the West Side Express on West Grand Avenue where a person reported a gas drive off from the day before.

At 1:22 p.m. on Nov. 11, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the intersection of Third Avenue North and West Jackson Street where a traffic accident occurred.

At 3:43 p.m. on Nov. 11, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the intersection of Eighth Street South and East Grand Avenue where a two vehicle accident occurred.

At 4 p.m. on Nov. 11, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the intersection of 15th Avenue North and West Grand Avenue where an accident occurred between a truck and a child. The child was taken to Riverview Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after.

At 4:14 p.m. on Nov. 11, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the intersection of Birch Street and Garfield Street where there was a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

At 5:25 p.m. on Nov. 11, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 900 block of East Riverview Expressway where a traffic accident occurred.

At 12:38 a.m. on Nov. 12, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 2000 block of Saratoga Street where a woman was receiving threatening text messages from a man.

At 2:06 a.m. on Nov. 12, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department went to the 200 block of 12th Avenue North where a vehicle was on fire.

At 11:45 a.m. on Nov. 12, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the intersection of East Riverview Expressway and First Street South where there was a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

At 12:17 p.m. on Nov. 12, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 300 block of 13th Avenue South where a woman reported theft of items.

At 1:13 p.m. on Nov. 12, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 100 block of 20th Street North where a man reported theft of a trailer.

At 3:01 p.m. on Nov. 12, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to Shopko on East Riverview Expressway where two juvenile females were caught shoplifting.

At 11:19 p.m. on Nov. 12, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 1300 block of First Street North where a man reported a boy fighting with his father.

At 11:21 p.m, on Nov. 12, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to WalMart on Eighth Street South where an employee reported two female shoplifters.

At 1:50 p.m. on Nov. 13, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 300 block of 17th Avenue North where a person backed out of a driveway and struck a parked vehicle.

At 2:48 p.m. on Nov. 13, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to WalMart on Eighth Street South where a man walked out of the store with unpaid merchandise.

At 6:32 p.m. on Nov. 13, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 500 block of Elm Street where a man reported he was harassed earlier while walking.

At 9:33 p.m. on Nov. 13, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 1300 block of 23rd Street North where a woman reported receiving a threatening phone call and believed the man who called was on her roof. When police arrived, the man was unable to be located.

At 10:16 p.m. on Nov. 13, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to Walgreens on Eighth Street South where a man reported people were trying to fill prescriptions for stolen drugs.

At 12:10 a.m. on Nov. 14, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department pulled over a vehicle at the intersection of Second Avenue South and Woodbine Street where police soon arrested a female driver for drunk driving.

Wood County Sheriff’s Department

At 8:07 a.m. on Nov. 11, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 4900 block of Plover Road where a man reported receiving threatening text messages from another man,

At 11:56 a.m. on Nov. 12, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 4000 block of Highway 54 West in the town of Port Edwards where a woman reported her mother was being beat up by her mother’s boyfriend and the boyfriend’s ex-wife was present; all parties involved were reported as intoxicated. When police arrived, the mother admitted there was a confrontation but did not wish to press charges,
