It came down to one touchdown. One drive. One score.
And ended with one champion.
Kenosha Bradford drove 58 yards over 11 plays for the games only touchdown with 3:51 left in the game and won the state championship beating Wisconsin Rapids, 7-0.
Bradford’s game-winning drive began at its own 42 and ended with a 10 yard John Meyers run.
The Raiders tried to answer, but the game virtually ended when Cort Halbur threw an interception on the Bradford 19-yard line with 0:02 left on the clock.
For Wisconsin Rapids (12-2), Devin Peterson rushed for 55 yards, Cort Halbur had 33 yards and Rylan Lubeck ran for 24 yards.
Bradford (14-0) was led by Henry Cabrera with 47 yards, Draven LaFayette had 40 yards and Quanzell Murphy ran for 33 yards.
