Jayme Lafler Jr., 24, Nekoosa pled no contest to theft of movable property under $2,500 and was sentenced to 12 months probation with a 90 day jail sentence imposed and stayed with five days credit, fined $443, ordered to attend counseling deemed necessary and have no contact with the people he stole from. A second count of theft of movable property under $2,500 was dismissed.
Aaron Kuhlka, 21, Wisconsin Rapids pled no contest to possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 13 months probation with 10 days jail imposed and stayed, fined $379 and ordered to attend counseling deemed necessary including anger management. He also pled no contest to battery with a domestic abuse modifier and was sentenced to 13 months probation with 90 days jail time imposed and stayed, fined $479 and ordered to attend counseling deemed necessary including anger management.
Michael Shanahan, 48, Wisconsin Rapids pled no contest for disorderly conduct and was fined $220 and received credit for 215 days jail time. The charge was amended from a charge of attempted strangulation and suffocation, and battery with a domestic abuse modifier.
Patrick Austin, 22, Wisconsin Rapids pled no contest for reckless driving and endangering the safety and was fined $456.50.
Robert Kingery, 39, Wisconsin Rapids pled no contest for possession of marijuana and was fined $914.50 and received credit for time served.
John Cardona, 29, Wisconsin Rapids pled no contest for disorderly conduct and negligent use of a weapon and was fined $1,262. A count of resisting an officer was dismissed.
Joseph Foley, 41, Wisconsin Rapids pled no contest to disorderly conduct with a domestic abuse modifier and was fined $731.
Jonathan Friday, 20, Nekoosa pled no contest to theft of movable property under $2,500 and was fined $641 and ordered to pay $100.50 restitution plus 15 percent added.
