Police Reports Nov. 28, 2011

Grand Rapids

At 7:50 a.m. on Nov. 23, the Grand Rapids Police Department was called to the 2400 block of 48th Street South where a truck spilled cranberries on the road. The Wood County Sheriff’s Department and Grand Rapids Fire Department assisted.

At 8:41 p.m. on Nov. 23, the Grand Rapids Police Department pulled over a vehicle at the intersection of Highway Z and Weslan Drive where the driver was arrested for drunk driving.

At 10:16 p.m. on Nov. 23, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 8800 block of Highway Z in Saratoga where a woman reported a disturbance involving a drunk man.

At 6:43 p.m. on Nov. 24, the Grand Rapids Police Department was called to the 4300 block of 58th Street South where a man reported another man came out of a house and hit a car with a baseball bat breaking the window. The Wood County Sheriff’s Department assisted and the man was arrested when police arrived.

At 11:03 a.m. on Nov. 25, the Grand Rapids Police Department was called to the 2400 block of 48th Street South where a woman reported theft of musical equipment from her storage unit.

At 9:25 a.m. on Nov. 26, the Grand Rapids Police Department was called to the 3800 block of 10th Street South where a woman reported receiving threatening phone calls and text messages from her ex-boyfriend.

At 6:22 p.m. on Nov. 26, the Grand Rapids Police Department was called to the 6000 block of Ashbury Drive where a man reported theft of a sign.

At 9:26 a.m. on Nov. 27, the Grand Rapids Police Department was called to the 4600 block of Eastwood Drive where a woman reported missing items after a family get together.

At 6:35 p.m. on Nov. 27, the Grand Rapids Police Department along with the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 6200 block of Deer Road where a woman was trying to remove belongings and wanted a man to leave her alone as she moved. The police eventually arrested the man.

Nekoosa

At 3:41 p.m. on Nov. 24, the Nekoosa Police Department was called to the 100 block of Elmwood Lane where a woman reported she needed an officer and hung up the phone. The Wood County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the call and when police arrived, they warned that if they returned again a citation would be issued.

At 6:17 p.m. on Nov. 25, the Nekoosa Police Department along with the Port Edwards Police Department was called to the 800 block of Market Street where two intoxicated people were fighting. The Nekoosa Ambulance and Wood County Sheriff’s Department also assisted.

Port Edwards

At 12:16 a.m. on Nov. 26, the Port Edwards Police Department was called to the 1100 block of Pleasant View Drive where a woman reported a man was drinking out of control and had access to a couple of rifles. When police arrived, they arrested the man and enforced a 72 hour no contact on the couple. The Nekoosa Police Department and Wood County Sheriff’s Department also assisted.

Wisconsin Rapids

At 9:07 a.m. on Nov. 23, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 200 block of 14th Street North where a woman reported unauthorized charges on her credit card.

At 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 23, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to Lincoln High School where two students were fighting.

At 12:41 p.m. on Nov. 23, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 1300 block of 21st Avenue where a woman reported receiving threatening voice messages on her phone from her landlord.

At 3:02 p.m. on Nov. 23, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to Shopko where a man was caught shoplifting. A citation was issued.

At 4:34 p.m. on Nov. 23, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 400 block of 10th Street North where a woman reported a sign was stolen.

At 5:01 p.m. on Nov. 23, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 300 block of 13th Avenue South where a woman reported a neighbor child stole items from the garage.

At 5:18 p.m. on Nov. 23, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 1000 block of Wisconsin Street where a woman reported someone had destroyed a sign in her yard.

At 8:01 p.m. on Nov. 23, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the McMillan Library where kids were arguing.

At 11:33 a.m. on Nov. 24, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 1300 block of First Street North where disturbances were reported.

At 10:28 p.m. on Nov. 24, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 4700 block of Eighth Street South where a man reported a theft of a cross.

At 10:44 p.m. on Nov. 24, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 1400 block of 22nd Avenue South where noise was reported from one of the apartments.

At 4:36 a.m. on Nov. 25, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to WalMart of Eighth Street South where an employee reported two shoplifters.

At 8:43 a.m. on Nov. 25, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to WalMart on Eighth Street South where an employee reported a female shoplifter.

At 4:35 p.m. on Nov. 25, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the intersection of First Street South and Pepper Avenue where there was a two vehicle accident with no injuries reported.

At 11:42 a.m. on Nov. 26, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department responded to a two vehicle accident at the 3400 block of Eighth Street South where two injuries were reported.

At 8:33 p.m. on Nov. 26, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to WalMart of Eighth Street South where a woman was caught shoplifting.

At 12:18 a.m. on Nov. 27, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 1800 block of Fourth Street South where a woman came to the residence all bloody. The woman stated her boyfriend had beaten her up and punched her in the face four times.The woman was taken to the hospital and the man was arrested.

At 12:50 a.m. on Nov. 27, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 1300 block of 21st Avenue South where a woman reported people smoking marijuana. Two women were arrested after police arrived.

At 3:13 a.m. on Nov. 27, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 3300 block of 20th Street South where a woman reported her underage son cut himself above the eye while he was drunk and belligerent.

At 9:52 a.m. on Nov. 27, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 3400 block of Norton Street where a man was yelling and punched a mirror on his own truck.

At 10:05 a.m. on Nov. 27, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 1000 block of Court Street where a woman reported eggs were thrown on her vehicles.

At 10:08 a.m. on Nov. 27, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 1400 block of 22nd Avenue where a woman reported a couple was going on at one of the apartments.

At 4:17 p.m. on Nov. 27, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to Shopko where a woman pushed out a cart of merchandise to her vehicle.

At 5:18 p.m. on Nov. 27, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the intersection of 17th Avenue North and Bonow Avenue where a car hit something on the railroad tracks.

At 6:06 p.m. on Nov. 27, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 50 block of Oak Leaf Circle where someone had tried to break into a mobile home but a neighbor scared the person away.

At 7:06 p.m. on Nov. 27, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 200 block of 12th Street North where a man struck another man across the chest.

At 7:45 p.m. on Nov. 27, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 1100 block of Wylie Street where a man reported someone broke into his house over the weekend and money was missing.

At 9:18 p.m. on Nov. 27, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 200 block of 21st Street where a girl reported her step-father had put her in a headlock and had pushed her.

At 10:19 p.m. on Nov. 27, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 200 block of Lyon Street where a woman reported her cellphone was stolen.

Wood County Sheriff’s Department

At 7:15 a.m. on Nov. 23, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 10600 block of Hollywood Road in Saratoga where a man reported a bullet went through the window of a truck.

At 12:54 a.m. on Nov. 24, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 6900 block of Hillcrest Avenue in Rudolph where a disturbance between a couple was reported. The man was arrested for domestic abuse.

At 9:02 a.m. on Nov. 25, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 900 block of Kimball Avenue in Port Edwards where a man reported theft of diesel fuel.

At 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 25, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to a tavern on the 3700 block of Highway 54 West in Port Edwards where a cook attacked the manager of the establishment.

At 8:43 p.m. on Nov. 25, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 10000 block of 52nd Street South in Saratoga where a man reported someone broke into a cabin behind his residence. The police are investigating the incident.

At 2:41 a.m. on Nov. 26, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department along with the Nekoosa Police Department was called to the 8700 block of Thunder Trail in Saratoga where a disturbance was reported.

At 12:15 a.m. on Nov. 27, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 600 block of Ranger Road in Saratoga where a man reported his ex-roommates were threatening him and another roommate.

At 2:18 a.m. on Nov. 27, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 8600 block of 28th Street South in Saratoga where an intoxicated man was causing a disturbance.

At 8:56 a.m. on Nov. 27, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the intersection of Highway 66 and Meadowview Drive in Rudolph where a woman reported someone had placed some sort of headstone on her husband’s grave and removed the items she had placed.

At 11:14 a.m. on Nov. 27, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 7700 block of Hamann Avenue in Saratoga where a person had broken into a garage and stole items.
