As part of its United Way campaign, WFHR/WRCW will be holding its seventh annual “Radio-Thon” on Friday, December 2, 2011. The event will be held from 6am – 9am during “The Morning Show with Scott and Tammy.” To participate, please tune into WFHR AM 1320.
There will be several guest speakers, including representatives from United Way of Inner Wisconsin partner programs. Listeners are encouraged to call in and make a donation over the phone. To make a donation during the “Radio-Thon,” please dial 715-424-1300.
“This is a fun way to support United Way,” said Tari Jahns, United Way of Inner Wisconsin’s CEO. “If you haven’t made your contribution yet this year, I would encourage you to tune into the Radio-Thon!”
The “Radio-Thon” was created in 2005 to help give the United Way campaign a final push at the end of the year. “We would like to thank WFHR/WRCW again for its support of United Way of Inner Wisconsin,” said Jahns. “They truly care about our community!”
