Dieting can promote an obsession with food and weight, feelings of failure, guilt and deprivation. Dieting for many is an endless cycle of not eating, giving up and eating anything, and then dieting again. Take a little “You Time” to learn how to eat healthier and lose weight without going on a diet at the January presentation of Riverview’s “Total You Tuesdays.”
“Dieting: Why It Might Make You Overweight!” will be held Tuesday, January 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Riverview Medical Center’s Lower Level Conference Center. The cost to attend is $10 per person. Registration and payment (cash or check) are being accepted at the Riverview Medical Center front desk now through Jan. 3.
“Dieting: Why It Might Make You Overweight!” will be led by Liz Mocadlo, RD, CDE, a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator with Riverview Medical Center. It is one in a series of “Total You Tuesdays” workshops offered by Riverview on the first Tuesday of each month.
