Police reports: Man throws knife at woman, deputies respond

Nekoosa

At 9:09 a.m. on Dec. 15, the Nekoosa Police Department was called to the Nekoosa High School where a student had caused a disturbance.

At 12:06 p.m. on Dec. 15, the Nekoosa Police Department was called to the Nekoosa High School where the police were informed of drugs in a locker.

At 6:07 a.m. on Dec. 16, the Nekoosa Police Department was called to the 100 block of Market Street where a woman stole gasoline. The incident is under investigation.

Wisconsin Rapids

At 12:32 p.m. on Dec. 15, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 2700 block of West Grand Avenue where a man reported a house was broken into with the thief leaving the back door broken, and cutting and stealing electrical wires.

At 2:46 p.m. on Dec. 15, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to Witter Field where disorderly conduct was reported.

At 2:47 p.m. on Dec. 15, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 300 block of Ninth Street South where a sexual offense was reported.

At 3:15 p.m. on Dec. 15, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to Lebakkens Rent to Own on Huntington Avenue where a man reported theft of a video game controller and other items. The man had video footage of the thief.

At 3:57 p.m. on Dec. 15, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 1100 block of 16th Street North where a woman reported receiving harassing calls from a man.

At 7:05 p.m. on Dec. 15, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 700 block of 13th Street North where a man reported three subjects wearing black hoods were attempting to get into a truck. The subjects were unable to be located when police arrived.

At 7:05 p.m. on Dec. 15, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 1100 block of 16th Street North where a person reported damage to the underskirt and door as if someone had tried to break-in earlier.

At 7:14 p.m. on Dec. 15, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the intersection of Chase Street and Riverview Expressway where a two vehicle accident occurred and a white pick up truck with topper that was involved left the scene.

At 2:12 a.m. on Dec. 16, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 600 block of 14th Street South where an anonymous caller reported the neighbors pounding in the garage. The neighbors received a warning.

Wood County Sheriff’s Department

At 9:13 p.m. on Dec. 15, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 900 block of Chak Ha Chee Lane in the town of Port Edwards where a woman reported a disturbance. When police arrived they arrested the man for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.

At 9:37 p.m. on Dec. 15, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department along with the Nekoosa Police Department was called to the 3700 block of Highway 73 South in Saratoga where a man reported his girlfriend threw a knife at him. When police arrived, the woman ran into the woods and hid. The police referred charges for disorderly conduct. At 11:13 p.m. on Dec. 15, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called back to the residence where the man was receiving text messages from the woman although a 72 hour no contact was enforced from the first call.

At 11:22 p.m. on Dec. 15, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department pulled over a vehicle on the 8800 block of Highway 13 South in Saratoga where the driver was arrested for drunk driving. The Nekoosa Police Department assisted in the arrest.
