Obituary of Lorraine M. Jeske,

Lorraine M. Jeske, age 88, died on Dec. 17, 2011, in Wisconsin Rapids.

   Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.  The Rev. John Steiner will officiate.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

   Mrs. Jeske was born Dec. 2, 1923, to James and Aurelia Dillingham.  She married Irvin Jeske July 14, 1948.  Lorraine was a homemaker and farmed with her husband and family in Vesper and Arpin.

   Survivors include three sons Michael (Karen) Jeske of Auburndale, Steven (Donna) Jeske of Wisconsin Rapids and Edward (Kim) Jeske of Pewaukee; five daughters Barbara (James) Weis of Rozellville, Susan Grassl of Baraboo, Marge (Don) Smith of Nekoosa, Helen (Dan) Cassiani of North Fort Meyers, Fla. and Christine (Kenneth) Winegarden of Friendship; eight sisters Ruth Timm of Wisconsin Rapids, Millie (Jerry) Freeberg of Wisconsin Rapids, Stella (Ralph) Rude of Wisconsin Rapids, Marie Dillingham of Wisconsin Rapids, Shirley Thompson of Wisconsin Rapids, Nancy Dillingham of Stevens Point, Margie Dillingham of Wisconsin Rapids and Elsie Kohl of Washington, Utah; two brothers Pat (Donna) Dillingham of Wisconsin Rapids and Richard Dillingham of Wisconsin Rapids; 27 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Rozie.

   She was preceded in death by one brother, Norman Dillingham and one sister Bernice Sweeny.

   Friends may call on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.

   Higgins Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, is assisting the family.
