Police Reports: Officials respond to assault

Grand Rapids

At 2:37 p.m. on Dec. 19, the Grand Rapids Police Department along with the Grand Rapids Fire Department and United Medical assisted We Energies at the 4700 block of 78th Street South where a mother and her two children were feeling nauseous and suspected it was carbon monoxide poisoning.

At 5:10 p.m. on Dec. 19, the Grand Rapids Police Department was called to the 4400 block of 48th Street South where a woman reported another woman had assaulted her. The woman was arrested for disorderly conduct with a domestic battery modifier.

At 548 p.m. on Dec. 19, the Grand Rapids Police Department was called to the 3300 block of Airport Avenue where a man reported checks being forged.

Wisconsin Rapids

At 11:38 a.m. on Dec. 19, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 100 block of 24th Street South where an 11-year-old boy was out of control.

At 1:16 p.m. on Dec. 19, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to WalMart on Eighth Street South where there was report of a theft.

At 1:49 p.m. on Dec. 19, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 400 block of Clyde Avenue where a disturbance was reported.

At 3:50 p.m. on Dec. 19, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the intersection of Ninth Street South and Airport Avenue where a minor two vehicle accident occurred.

At 4:45 p.m. on Dec. 19, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 3300 block of Eighth Street South where a minor two vehicle accident occurred.

At 9:59 p.m. on Dec. 19, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 2700 block of 12th Street South where a woman reported she was being harassed over the phone by a man.

At 3:39 a.m. on Dec. 20, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was called to the 200 block of 10th Street North where a woman reported loud music.

Wood County Sheriff’s Department

At 3:50 p.m. on Dec. 19, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 500 block of Highway 73 South in Saratoga where a house was broken into.

At 9:06 p.m. on Dec. 19, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department was called to the 8800 block of Highway Z in Saratoga where a disturbance was reported. The Nekoosa Police Department assisted with the call.
