Prostate cancer support group meets Jan. 5

UW Cancer Center Riverview invites all men with prostate cancer and prostate cancer survivors to attend the Prostate Cancer Support Group on Thursday, January 5, from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in Riverview Medical Center’s Lower Level Conference Center, 410 Dewey Street, Wisconsin Rapids.

The January meeting will feature a round-table discussion, “How to be Physically, Socially and Emotionally Healthy in 2012,” facilitated by Chaplain Tom Duncan, PhD with UW Cancer Center Riverview.  Light refreshments will be served.

The Prostate Cancer Support Group meets the first Thursday of every month from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in Riverview’s Lower Level Conference Center. Each month’s meeting features a topic relating to prostate cancer. There is no cost to attend, and no registration is required. New members and spouses are always welcome.
