Wendy L. Villars age 59 of 1689 Cranberry Lane, Wisconsin Rapids, died Saturday, December 31, 2011 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN.
A memorial service will be held at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids on Friday at 12:00 noon. Rev. William Menzel will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 11 AM. until 12:00 PM. A memorial will established in Wendy’s name at a later date.
Wendy was born March 25, 1952 in Wisconsin Rapids to Neil and Eva (Haasl) Skibba. She married Michael Villars on March 3, 1978 in Wood County.
She was formerly employed as an aide for the Port Edwards School District, as a Ladies Dept. Mgr for Younkers and as a dispatcher for the Wisconsin Rapids Police Dept.
Wendy enjoyed gardening, cooking, flowers, birds (particularly trumpeter swans), the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by: her husband: Michael of Wisconsin Rapids

3 children: Benjamin (Amber) Villars of Noblesville, IN
Sara (Chuck) Dombrowski of Madison, Alabama
Abby (Nathan) Griepentrog of De Pere, WI
4 grandchildren: Wayland and Amelia Villars

2 brothers: David (Michelle) Skibba of Wisconsin Rapids
William “Bill” (Renee) Skibba of Wisconsin Rapids
