Riverview Hospital Association invites everyone to an open house to celebrate “A Century of Caring for Our Community.” Owned by our community, Riverview Hospital Association was established in 1912 by a group of citizens who were dedicated to ensuring that our community had a hospital of our own.
The centennial celebration open house will be held Jan. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon and Jan. 29, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Riverview Medical Center’s main lobby, 410 Dewey Street, Wisconsin Rapids.
Visitors will have the opportunity to view a display and video of Riverview’s 100-year history and tour the newly renovated Riverview Medical Center lobby, Riverview Family Clinic and Wood County Health Department.
The most convenient parking for the open house is the Riverview Medical Center main entrance parking lot at 410 Dewey Street.
Bricks from the former Riverview Hospital/Riverview Manor/Wisconsin Rapids Care Center will be sold at the open house for $5 each. Following the open house, bricks will remain on sale while supplies last through the Riverview Health Care Foundation. Proceeds from the sale of bricks will be used by Riverview Health Care Foundation to benefit the future health and wellness of our community.
