Obituary of Joyce M. Lobner

Joyce M. Lobner, age 76, of 3440 Mirage Circle, Plover, Wisconsin died Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

As per Joyce’s wishes, no visitation or services will be held, burial will be in Plover Cemetery.

Joyce was born January 29, 1935 in Stevens Point to the late Joseph and Ludgera (Ludwikowski) Pawelski.  She married George Lobner on July 5, 1954 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Tacoma, Washington.  She was employed at Worzella Publishing in Stevens Point for over 20 years, retiring in 1997.

Joyce enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter Megan, listening to polka music and going to dances, doing crafts and was an avid reader.

She is survived by:

              Daughter:     Deborah (Steve) Otte of Stevens Point, WI

   Grand Daughter:     Megan Otte of Stevens Point, WI

               Brothers:     James (Maryann) Pawelski of Stevens Point, WI

                                   Robert (Barbara) Pawelski of Hudson, WI

                  Sisters:      Jean Weir of Stevens Point, WI

                                    Evelyn (William) Rekowski of Stevens Point, WI

                                    Ruth (Burton) Garski of Wis. Rapids, WI

                                    Kathleen (Thomas) Viertel of Stevens Point, WI

She was preceded in death by her parents.
