Local graduates; students awarded honors

Fall semester graduates:

Concordia University

Among the area students receiving degrees was Tina Marie Froeba of Wisconsin Rapids. Froeba graduated with a BA majoring in health care administration.

Concordia’s main campus is located on 200 acres of beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline. The University and its 10 educational centers and classrooms are home to 7,618 undergraduate and graduate students from 46 states and 28 foreign countries. The University offers more than 60 undergraduate majors, 14 master’s degree programs, and doctoral degrees in Pharmacy, Physical Therapy and Nursing Practice.

University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point conferred degrees on more than 555 graduates during the university’s 2011 winter commencement ceremonies.

Graduates, their guests and faculty were addressed by UW System Regent Mark Bradley. Chancellor Bernie Patterson welcomed the participants and Interim Provost and Vice Chancellor Greg Summers recognized honor students and award winners.

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored 2,694 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the fall semester of the 2011-12 academic semester.

Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the highest honors designation. High honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89 and honor recognition is accorded to those with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74.

University of Wisconsin – Madison Dean’s List:

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized students named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester of the 2011-2012 academic year.

St. Norbert College Dean’s List:
