Police continue to investigate Rapids man disappearance

While a physical search has been suspended since Jan. 22, the Grand Rapids Police Department continues to investigate the disappearance of a 29-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man.

Greg Senn was dropped off at the 6000 block of 80th Street to visit a friend on Jan. 13 and decided to leave the residence at 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 14.

While Senn has family and other friends who live in Grand Rapids, he has not visited any of those locations, Grand Rapids Police Chief Dave Lewandowski said in a Jan. 16 interview.

Three sources informed the police that Senn was last seen walking north on 80th Street around 6:30 a.m. on Jan. 14.

Although the physical search has ceased for the moment, investigators continue to interview people and follow-up on tips.

If something would pop up during the investigation, we would physically search, Lewandowski said. Nothing has at this point.

“(We are) investigating everyday,” he said. “The investigation is not going to stop until we find him.”

Senn is described as a 5-foot-10 man with black hair and brown eyes. He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a blue jean Redwings jersey jacket.

If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Senn, please call 911.
